Our story
Five generations. Over a century at work in the heart of Rome.

Fifth generation

“Punctuality and Courtesy”
Our story begins in the early 1900s, when my great-great-grandfather Guido worked a horse-drawn carriage on public transport near the Colosseum, taking the first visitors out to discover the Eternal City.
In the 1940s, with the arrival of the motor car, the business passed to my great-grandfather Alberto, then to my grandfather Mario and later to my father Mauro Cimarelli, who carried it on together with his brother Guido.
The two brothers, different in character but perfectly complementary, were decisive in the growth of the family firm, each bringing his own strengths and reinforcing the way it ran.
At its widest, the company stood among the leading names in Roman transport, reaching seventh place among the top ten firms in the sector. A significant result, earned in a fiercely competitive field, and one that never altered who we are: a family business built on seriousness, continuity and a reputation earned day after day.
We have never leaned on large industrial groups: our capital has always been the family name, the family itself and the credibility won in the field.
Over the years we have worked with more than 25 hotels in Rome and operated in institutional and cultural settings tied to RAI, to cinema, to public institutions, the Senate, the Government, the Lazio Region, Legambiente and the world of news and journalism.
Many of those we have worked with still choose us today. Having handled considerable volumes, we chose to evolve towards a model that puts the quality of the service before the quantity, with constant attention to operational precision and to detail.
The fifth generation
Today that path reaches me. I am Giulia Cimarelli, the fifth generation to lead the family business.
At 21 I earned the required licences and built up years of experience at the wheel of our vehicles, working my way through the operating categories. Alongside driving, I took on the organisation of services and events, with steadily wider responsibilities.
Today I coordinate the running of the company, its services and its staff, along with a large, modern and constantly renewed fleet, operating in full compliance with NCC licensing — a guarantee of reliability, safety and good standing.
Being a woman at the head of a historic firm in a traditionally male sector is a source of pride and a great responsibility: it means keeping a tradition of more than a century and carrying it forward.
The vehicles and the way we travel have changed over time. Our approach to the work has not.
Five generations. One family name. Over a century of experience.
A fleet can be built. A service can be copied. A family story five generations long cannot.
